At Peoples Bookkeeping & Tax Inc., we are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. They will also establish and implement policies and procedures, determine and establish office procedures and routines, and schedule and confirm appointments. Additionally, they will answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, answer electronic enquiries, and order office supplies and maintain inventory. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. They will be fluent in English and able to work 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
