We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Peoples Bookkeeping & Tax Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and be able to provide exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating Events: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to ensure their smooth execution.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
  • Scheduling and Communication: Schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure that our office is well-stocked and equipped.
  • Customer Service: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Document Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our office.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
