Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Quality Inn. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Plan and control budgets and expenditures
  • Supervise other workers and establish office procedures and routines
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Answer electronic enquiries and provide customer service
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Advise senior management on administrative matters
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Oversee payroll administration and arrange travel
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Perform data entry and maintain digital databases
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • 3-4 people supervised
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
