About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Regional Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new customer business and maximizing sales potential in your designated territory.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in your territory
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers
  • Manage your territory to maximize business potential
  • Enter all Customer Opportunities into SalesForce and manage opportunity status
  • Submit regular sales and progress reports
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and develop solutions
  • Strategize with management to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market
  • Gather and share competitive information with internal teams
  • Meet sales targets and retention goals while sourcing and managing customers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of sales and customer service experience in the Ag Industry
  • Agriculture Retail experience with technical knowledge of Agriculture Software preferred
  • Sales and business acumen with an Ag Business, Economics, or related degree, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of market segmentation, product line, and new product development
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • 60-70% travel required within the region
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications and CRM systems
