Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist

Ray of Hope is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to lead our Health and Safety program and coordinate our training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide training and education to staff on health and safety procedures
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health and safety
  • CRST certification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
