The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our staff and adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and Lead Staff
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure they are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Review and Implement Health and Safety Policies
    • Review and update health and safety policies and procedures to ensure they are compliant with regulatory requirements.
    • Implement and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Inspect and Investigate
    • Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
    • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage Health and Safety Data
    • Collect and analyze data on workplace accidents and incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Plans
    • Develop and implement health and safety plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders
    • Communicate health and safety information to staff, management, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
    • Ability to develop and implement health and safety plans.
    • Ability to communicate complex information to staff and stakeholders.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
