Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Rockwell Toronto Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates, planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Scheduling: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Software Operations: Operate CADD and other computer software systems to support project coordination.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprint, schemas, and drawings to ensure project accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports to stakeholders on project progress and status.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
