Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Kelowna, BC.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work in a team treatment model with complex clients who have long-term psychiatric illness and co-occurring social and health issues. The position is an outreach role meeting clients in their homes and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and urgent response to clients.
  • Function as a primary clinician utilizing specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals and groups of clients.
  • Work closely with the ACT team to provide ongoing mental health assessment, case management, housing assistance, family support, and substance use services.
About this Opportunity

This casual opportunity offers flexibility in scheduling, but hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Shifts of work are days, with shift times of 08:30 to 16:30.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
  • Two years' recent related MHSU experience in the assigned clinical area(s).
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Current valid B.C. driver's license.

Estimated Salary: $73,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
