About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Community Health and Services Centre in Kelowna, B.C.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position as a Counselling & Treatment Clinician within our Adult Short-Term Assessment and Treatment (ASTAT) team. The successful candidate will provide advanced-level assessment, treatment, service coordination, and urgent response to clients with complex mental health problems and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely, responsive, and evidence-based short-term treatment and clinical supports for clients.
  • Provide specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients, and/or their families.
  • Coordinate services and respond to urgent situations requiring immediate attention.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution in an Allied Health, Behavioural, or Social Science field relevant to the position.
  • Two years' recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current valid B.C. driver's license.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical services plan, extended health and dental coverage, and municipal pension plan.
