Fringe Theatre Adventures is a dynamic arts organization seeking an experienced Development Officer to support our mission through philanthropic activities and fundraising initiatives. This challenging role requires a strong results-focused mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with our Development Team.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Development and primarily work with Corporate Giving and Foundations, creating and implementing strategies that inspire charitable giving. They will cultivate meaningful connections with Donors, key relationship groups, and the broader community through creative storytelling and data-informed strategies.

  • The ideal candidate will be personable, professional, passionate, and approachable in-person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative environment with a creative team, the Development Officer will also possess working knowledge of CRM software.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Accreditation or education in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in fundraising, development, sponsorship, or strategic communications within a charitable and/or arts organization.
  • Proven success in fundraising campaigns, Donor relations, and/or sponsorship acquisition.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring some evening and weekend work. A flexible schedule may include start and end times differing from 9am – 5pm and/or swapping weekday work for weekend work. The Development Officer must be available for the lead up, execution, and reporting of the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival.
