As a Fundraising and Partnerships Development Specialist with the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission to support and connect non-profit organizations in Alberta. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and fundraising initiatives.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing sponsorships, grants, and other forms of funding for non-profit organizations. You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to acquire new partners, cultivating existing relationships, and driving revenue growth through targeted events and campaigns.

  • Develop and execute sponsorship acquisition and stewardship plans to secure multi-year agreements and increase retention rates.
  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities, including those offered by government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing and Community Relations team to create targeted communications and promotional materials that showcase our organization's impact and value proposition.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nonprofit management, marketing, or business.
  • Proven experience in fundraising, partnership development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform strategy.
