Hedge Fund Assistant Vice President

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Hedge Fund Assistant Vice President - Global Operations. This is a dynamic position that involves a broad variety of responsibilities, requiring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Lead the client relationship management for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service standards and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Cross-Selling and Business Development: Actively cross-sell our suite of services to our client base, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our market share.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and other fund admin reporting, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Global Projects and Client Integration: Assist in the management of global projects, including the integration of large fund administration mandates, and ensure seamless client onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with operational centres to drive process improvements, optimize service offerings, and enhance productivity and profitability.
- Audit and Compliance: Manage the complete audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of governance and risk management.
- NAV Preparation and Review: Assist in the management of the NAV preparation and review process for our hedge fund clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Experience: Approximately 5+ years' fund accounting experience, with a strong understanding of complex fund structures and fund accounting principles.
- Commercial Awareness: A high degree of commercial awareness and client service focus, with the ability to identify opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our market share.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work on own initiative consistently producing accurate and timely work.
- Professional Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
