About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hedge Fund Assistant Vice President to join our team at the Apex Group. As a key member of our global operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in the client service of our Hedge Fund administration clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Lead the client relationship management for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service standards and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and other fund admin reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Global Projects: Assist in the management of global projects, including client integration and coordination with other locations.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the operational work for our Hedge Fund clients, ensuring adherence to documented procedures and policies.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Approximately 5+ years' fund accounting experience, with a strong understanding of complex fund structures and fund accounting.
  • Commercial Awareness: A high degree of commercial awareness and client service focus, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring a team of professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Professional Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification is a plus, but not required.
