About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Hedge Fund Assistant Vice President. As a key member of our fund administration team, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in the client service of our Hedge Fund administration clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the client relationship management for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service standards and attention to detail.
  • Actively cross-sell our suite of services to our client base, identifying opportunities to optimize service offerings and drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and other fund admin reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP reporting standards.
  • Assist in the development of new and existing global client relationships, optimizing service offerings, productivity, and profitability.
  • Manage the complete audit process, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to clients.
  • Assist in the management of the NAV preparation and review process for our hedge fund clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to documented procedures and policies, maintaining a high level of quality and control.
  • Collaborate with operational centers to integrate large fund administration mandates, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work on ad-hoc internal and global projects, as required, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Ensure all deliverables are met on a timely and accurate basis, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements
  • Approximately 5+ years' fund accounting experience, with a strong understanding of complex fund structures and fund accounting principles.
  • A high degree of commercial awareness and client service focus, with excellent leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to produce accurate and timely work.
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other divisions, and professional intermediaries.
  • A professional accounting qualification is a plus, as is demonstrated ability to automate processes and knowledge of investor KYC and AML requirements.
