Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for managing the outside sales team and retail sales business. This individual will set individual and regional branch locations' sales goals, facilitate the sales team's success by setting direction, training, coaching, and communicating with the team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building a team, working knowledge of JD Edwards, marketing experience, and product/industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate the success of the team by setting direction, establishing goals, and conducting meetings to ensure alignment.
  • Build new business and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Work closely with Regional General Managers to provide timely communication, sales forecasts, and reporting.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Collaborate with Service and Sales Training Managers to reinforce sales skills and expand knowledge.
  • Interface with Regional Rental Manager to drive rental business growth and effective interaction with the sales team.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of successful sales experience, with 5 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of building a team, working knowledge of JD Edwards, marketing experience, and product/industry knowledge.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various situations, demands, or organizational needs.
  • Clear thinker with objectivity, experience, and analysis to make decisions.
  • Drive for results, with a raw drive and energy to be highly self-motivated.
