Role Summary

As a Health Compliance Officer with the Government of Alberta, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with the Continuing Care Act and its regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring high-quality care for Albertans in continuing care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough on-site inspections, audits, and investigations to ensure compliance with provincial standards.
  • Investigate complaints and incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide clinical and professional expertise on IPC and continuing care standards to support compliance monitoring, quality assurance, and risk management practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports with evidence-based recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with service providers and compliance teams to ensure they meet their legal obligations and improve care delivery.

About the Role

You will be working within the Home and Community Care Inspection Program or Continuing Care Home Inspection Program. This recruitment pool will be used to fill vacant positions across both units.
