About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join our team at Tiny Hoppers - Barrie. As an Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Authorize routine financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Co-ordinate financial activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Establish and maintain financial schedules and procedures to ensure efficient financial management.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Examine and verify the accuracy of financial data and reports.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise and mentor accounting and related clerks to ensure they are meeting their financial responsibilities.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Maintain the operation of financial computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all financial systems and data are secure and protected from unauthorized access.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate accurate and reliable financial management skills.
    • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Display initiative and judgment in financial decision-making.
    • Be organized and efficient in financial operations.
    • Be a team player and demonstrate reliability in financial responsibilities.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in financial operations is an asset.
    • Basic security clearance.
    • MS Office skills.
