Job Overview
Our client is in search of a skilled Taxation Supervisor to become a part of their esteemed organization. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating with tax partners to identify tax optimization opportunities and strategies across a diverse client portfolio.
- Drafting detailed planning memorandums and technical documentation for both clients and partners.
- Providing mentorship to junior team members in tax-related matters.
- Assisting in the review process of individual and corporate tax returns as well as various tax projects.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Completion of the CPA In-depth Tax Course or a Master’s degree in Taxation is advantageous.
- A minimum of four years of professional experience, with at least two years focused on tax specialization (capable of handling both tax and accounting tasks).
- Comprehensive understanding of personal, corporate, partnership, and trust tax laws and compliance obligations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in Caseware and TaxPrep software is necessary.
- Prior experience in corporate restructuring, estate planning, and various tax election filings (such as Section 85, CDA, etc.) is preferred.
