Electrical & Instrumentation Trades Supervisor - Operations Manager

HF Sinclair is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Trades Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of preventative and predictive maintenance plans to ensure safe and efficient production of lubricant products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production
- Supervise a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with the maintenance team leader to develop and implement continuous improvement plans
- Perform performance management of direct reports, including annual performance reviews and development of training plans
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and procedures, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Manage time entry and attendance for assigned craft persons
- Hold regular safety meetings and ensure remedial action is taken on items raised
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including union representatives and other departments
- Five or more years of refinery maintenance or operations experience
- Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Electrical or Instrumentation Certificate of Qualification or Engineering degree
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures
- Supervisory knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This position is safety-sensitive and requires a 50/50 split between office and plant work.
