Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Trades Supervisor to join our team at HF Sinclair Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities
    • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
  • Maintenance Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and excellence
    • Oversee the execution of maintenance activities, including corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including OSHA and other industry standards
    • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and technologies
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

This is a safety-sensitive position, and the selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
