Bilingual Claims Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Claims Examiner to join our team at Securian Canada. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine claim files to determine eligibility and make decisions based on policy provisions.
- Communicate with claimants, physicians, and employers to obtain necessary documentation and information.
- Verify payment amounts, policyholder information, and premiums status.
- Prepare and review reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
