Bilingual Claims Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Claims Examiner to join our team at Securian Canada. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for examining claim files, reviewing language, and making decisions on claim eligibility. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Claim Examination: Accurately examine claim files within processing guidelines, analyzing language and making decisions on claim eligibility.
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication with claimants, physicians, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Use analytical skills to resolve complex claims issues.
- Time Management: Manage multiple claims files simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
- Education: Post-secondary education preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Language: Fluency in both English and French.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
