Project Overview

Mace, a leading infrastructure consultancy, is seeking an experienced Head of Program Delivery to join our Canadian team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a significant amount of multi-discipline rail construction as part of the Metrolinx GO Expansion scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of program management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Metrolinx Stouffville project delivery team to drive continuous improvement and upskill the delivery team.
  • Implement best practices in program management, including risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and legislative requirements, including safety, quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
  • Lead a team of senior managers, managers, and assistant managers to deliver program objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategy and drive the growth of our Canadian consult business.
  • Network and utilize the full depth of knowledge of the Mace group and centers of excellence to support program delivery.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable program management experience on large capital rail programs.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a client program management organization.
  • Membership of APM, PMI, or equivalent professional or personal development.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
