Construction Project Coordinator: Professional Development Specialist

The primary goal of the Construction Project Coordinator is to support the construction team with regards to design development, cost estimation, documentation management, and technical and site support. As the ideal candidate, you have 2 or more years of experience in the construction industry, possessing strong organizational and management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Work on all phases of new projects, including due diligence, feasibility studies, and execution
  • Coordinate professionals involved in the project file
  • Liaise between customers and the company regarding project scope of work
  • Gather and manage information and correspondence related to construction project development
  • Assist in preparing job cost estimates
  • Prepare plans and specifications
  • Prepare purchase orders and sub-contracts
  • Assist in design review and modification
  • Manage the bid process
  • Coordinate work and pricing with subcontractors
Criteria
  • 2 or More Years experience in the construction field or equivalent degree
  • LEED accreditation is an asset
  • Proven effectiveness in areas of construction safety and productivity
  • Labor relations expertise
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Word, Excel, MS Project, etc.
  • Graphic Design Software knowledge is beneficial

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000-$80,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
