Residential Construction Project Manager

Bertone, a family-owned real estate development company based in Montreal, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendant to manage one of our residential construction projects in CANDIAC.
With over 20 years of experience in Quebec's construction industry, Bertone has built a diversified portfolio of commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use properties. Our team values innovation, vision, and a dynamic entrepreneurial approach.
We are looking for a skilled professional with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience as a site superintendent for residential wood structure projects. You will have proven expertise in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the project under the supervision of the Project Manager;
- E nsure that work is carried out efficiently, productively, and safely;
- Independently coordinate site activities in compliance with the customer's plans and specifications;
- Enforce compliance of suppliers and subcontractors with contractual requirements;
- Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site;
- Plan construction schedules and ensure compliance;
- Inform the project manager of progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work schedule;
- Follow up with the project manager to ensure that all required documents are up-to-date;
- Eliminate all deficiencies in order to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project;
- Manage material, equipment, labor, and subcontracting requirements;
- Any other related tasks.
- Technical diploma in architecture (or building-related field) combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on major projects, or professional diploma in a construction trade combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on residential wood-frame projects;
- Basic computer skills (common tools and software)
- Autonomous and proactive
- Valid driver's license.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
