Construction Site Manager for Residential Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee the execution of our residential projects in CANDIAC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project sites under the supervision of the Project Manager;
  • Ensure efficient, productive, and safe work processes;
  • Coordinate site activities in compliance with customer plans and specifications;
  • Enforce contractual requirements among suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site;
  • Plan construction schedules and ensure compliance;
  • Inform the project manager of progress and make necessary adjustments to the work schedule;
  • Verify that all required documents are up-to-date;
  • Eliminate deficiencies to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project;
  • Manage material, equipment, labor, and subcontracting requirements;
Requirements:
  • Technical diploma in architecture (or building-related field) combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on major projects, or professional diploma in a construction trade combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on residential wood-frame projects;
  • Basic computer skills (common tools and software)
  • Autonomous and proactive individual with a valid driver's license.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience.
