Company Overview

Indus Travels Inc. is a leading travel company seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, including travel agents, group leaders, and affinity groups.
  • Assess and establish new sales channels, including online partners and direct clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and Director of Sales to establish and deliver a product that meets customer needs and expectations.
  • Manage administrative duties, including reporting to the management team and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of management experience in sales and marketing.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Established networks within the travel industry, including affinity groups, tour operators, wholesalers, and meeting and incentive houses.
  • Sound knowledge of the global travel market.
  • At least 5 years of experience dealing with Canadian outbound travel passengers.
  • Experience in negotiating business agreements and contracts.
  • Product development experience of travel-related products.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products and internet.
  • Account management skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Zoho or Salesforce).
