Senior Director, Networking Solutions

Job Summary:

The Senior Director, Networking Solutions will lead all aspects of Product Management for Enterprise Networking, including discovering market insights and formulating product strategy, articulating the product vision, developing requirements, guiding product development, and championing product commercialization. He/she will manage the Product Management team and will drive collaboration across all areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Enterprise Networking market.
  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Product Development and Launch: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and features that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Team Management and Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of product managers and engineers to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of products and features.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and engineering teams, as well as external stakeholders, including customers and partners.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field.
  • Experience: Proven track record of successful product line management (typically 10+ years).
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional team environment and ability to drive collaboration across all areas of the organization.
  • Technical Expertise: Technical proficiency across the entire Networking stack – physical layer, network, cloud software.
  • Commercial Strategy and Leadership: Commercial strategy and leadership experience, including sales engagement, channel strategy, and management.
  • Marketing and Communication: Marketing and communication skills, including messaging, positioning, and marketing mix.
  • Business Acumen: Deep knowledge of business issues impacting cost, revenue, and profitability.
