Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food and service are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in all aspects of food service operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Certifications
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Language
    • English.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.
