About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Quality: Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with A&W's quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting sales and managing expenses.
  • Employee Development: Provide training and development opportunities for food service staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
