About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food, and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate financial records to ensure that we are meeting our financial goals.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure that the workplace is safe and healthy for all employees, and maintain accurate records of workplace incidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking.
