Job Title: African Kitchen Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced African Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Elyon African Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and that we have everything we need to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have enough stock to meet demand.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and that we are able to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that we are providing exceptional service and that our customers are satisfied with their experience.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, ensuring that we are able to track our performance and make informed decisions about our operations.
- Prepare and submit reports, ensuring that we are able to track our performance and make informed decisions about our operations.
- Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that they have all the information they need to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our kitchen is operating efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and to prepare reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
