Job Summary

We're seeking a Commercial Claims Advocacy Team Lead to join our team and work out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or the Atlantic region on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure BrokerLink's Commercial Claims Advocacy offering and determine the need for additional resources.
  • Lead claims resources for BrokerLink's largest clients.
  • Work with commercial clients, adjusters, carriers, and 3rd party providers to resolve claims using problem-solving, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Support senior commercial executives with pre- and post-claims advocacy and planning.
  • Establish commercial claims advocate KPIs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our top carriers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education.
  • 6-8 years of industry experience, with claims experience required.
  • P&C Insurance License(s) across multiple Canadian provinces preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a team required.
  • High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity.
  • Excellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolution.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking.
  • Able to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • EPIC broker management system required.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
