Commercial Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink, working out of our Moncton, NB office on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role

This role entails providing top-notch service to customers, offering advice and assistance with insurance understanding, discussing customer concerns, and receiving and processing incoming commercial paperwork.

You will also assist with quotes, write new business, review existing coverage, update customer file information, prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificates, process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments. Additionally, you will communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on behalf of customers, negotiate renewal of terms, and follow up with adjusters on claims status.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma and/or post-secondary education
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial insurance, including property/casualty and automobile insurance
  • A valid insurance license for New Brunswick or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong customer focus, previous sales experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
