Business Contract Negotiator

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team in Toronto. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Contract Manager to manage a portfolio of contracts, negotiate agreements, and provide subject matter expertise in contract review, drafting, and implementation.
Responsibilities- Organize and manage contracts supporting negotiation and implementation.
- Provide expertise in contract review, negotiation, drafting, and execution.
- Interface with Strategic Sourcing, Legal, external vendors, and Business Line stakeholders.
- Drive projects to meet deadlines and provide direction on TD's Sourcing Policies and Procedures.
- Coordinate Risk Partners as required for contract management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and effectively work with key stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of the TDBG organization structure.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite.
Prior experience in sourcing, contract management, Coupa, SAP-Ariba, high-level Excel skills, GDPR provisions, Model Risk, and AI would be beneficial.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $54.25 - $55.64 per hour, paid bi-weekly. This is a hybrid position with 2 days on-site, Monday to Friday, core business hours. We offer competitive pay rates and long-term contract opportunities.
