Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager II to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). This role will involve using contract management expertise to support all aspects of contract negotiation.



Responsibilities

  • Organize, influence, and manage a portfolio of contracts to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the review, negotiation, drafting, implementation, and execution of Contracts, primarily IT Contracts.
  • Act as an interface between Strategic Sourcing, TD Legal, external vendors, and the TD Business Line while interfacing at all levels within TD, including Senior Management for both Canada and the United States.
  • Drive to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Provide direction and guidance on TD's Sourcing Policies and Procedures.
  • Collaborate with TD Risk Partners to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Implement SLA Management to ensure effective contract performance.


Requirements

  • 8-10 years of professional experience in contract management or a related field.
  • Legal background preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated team player who takes initiative and can work independently.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating at all levels, including business partners, executives, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite of products.
  • Prior experience with Coupa and SAP-Ariba products is an asset.


Total Rewards Package

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $95,000 per year, based on location and experience.
