Avania is a rapidly growing organization in the clinical trials sector, seeking an experienced Senior Contract Management Professional to join its Clinical Contract Management team.

The role of the Senior Contract Management Professional will be responsible for managing clinical trial agreements and other related contracts with clinical sites, investigators, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract management, with experience in negotiating and reviewing contracts, as well as developing processes and templates for clinical studies.

The Clinical Contract Management team at Avania is responsible for designing and implementing global and regional processes and workflows for site contracts and budget negotiations. The team also develops contract management templates, negotiates guidelines, procedures, and tools, and populates, reviews, and negotiates study and site-specific contracts and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing contract management plans for site contracting projects
  • Negotiating contractual terms with other contracting parties
  • Reviewing client proposals/RFPs
  • Supporting in preparing materials on CCM service offering strategy and improvements in collaboration with Business Development
  • Establishing relationships and collaborating closely with Operations staff to keep them informed of progress of agreements and aligned on relevant project timelines
  • Participating in client meetings, presenting reports, and supporting client relationships
  • Driving, negotiating, reviewing, and processing contracts in a commercially reasonable manner that protects Avania's fundamental interests and in a manner consistent with company rules, practices, and policies
  • Identifying potential obstacles in the contracting process promptly and requesting assistance of Project Management staff as necessary to minimize delays and facilitate the prompt conclusion of contractual negotiations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, science, economics, business management, or a related field
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role (Clinical or Site Contract Management) gained in either sponsor and/or CRO
  • Proven site contracting knowledge (majority of topics and various countries) backed with strong contract management and budget negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable project management skills combined with the ability to work independently with limited guidance
  • Excellent contract review and use of playbooks skills
  • Ability to apply principles of ICH GCP and follow quality standard procedures

About the Role:

This is a senior-level role that requires a high level of expertise in contract management. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of negotiating and reviewing contracts, as well as developing processes and templates for clinical studies. Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
