Job Overview


The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in negotiating and managing contracts that support all aspects of our business operations.

About the Role


We are looking for an experienced professional with exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Strategic Sourcing, TD Legal, external vendors, and Senior Management, to ensure seamless contract execution. Your ability to drive results and meet deadlines will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities



  • Negotiate and manage contracts that align with our business objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in contract review, negotiation, drafting, implementation, and execution.
  • Serve as an interface between internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective contract management.
  • Drive contract-related projects to completion within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement contract-related policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and address potential contract risks and issues.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • 8-10 years of experience in contract management or a related field.
  • A legal background is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex contract information and make informed decisions.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
