Job Summary and Requirements

This posting will be used to fill a six-month term position working 75 hours bi-weekly, establishing a 12-month eligibility list for future positions.

This role is based in a thriving and diverse community, where our philosophy is centered around promoting the dignity, individual freedom, choice, and lifestyle of our residents.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide clinical care services for residents with physical, cognitive, social, and/or emotional impairments in our Long-Term Care facilities.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Rehabilitation Assistant will work under the direction of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and/or speech-language pathologists to provide rehabilitation programs and activities that enhance, maintain, improve, or restore the ability to participate in daily living activities.

This position may also provide training to staff throughout the Continuing Care division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care services to residents with physical, cognitive, social, and/or emotional impairments
  • Work under the direction of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and/or speech-language pathologists to provide rehabilitation programs and activities
  • Provide training to staff throughout the Continuing Care division
