We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Care Specialist to join our team at GUALDE AND ALBEOS FAMILY CORP. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes their physical, cognitive, and emotional development.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
  • The successful candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

The Early Childhood Care Specialist will be responsible for assessing children's development, preparing learning plans tailored to their needs, and implementing child-care programs that support their overall growth and well-being. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Affirm children's development through learning plans that cater to their needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Provide care and support to infants and toddlers, including feeding, bathing, and diapering.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Ensure the maintenance of daycare equipment and supplies.
  • Engage children in activities that encourage creativity and self-expression, such as storytelling, arts, and music.
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs and activities that promote children's development.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any concerns.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and community service providers.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including planning and organizing activities for school-age children.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Punctuality, dependability, and flexibility.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
