The Pharmacy Manager will play a critical role in leading the pharmacy team, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services, and contributing to the continued success and growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to meet pharmacy needs while minimizing waste and maximizing cost-efficiency.
  • Prescription Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care and patient outcomes.
  • Staff Development: Provide leadership in training and development of pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Scheduling and Customer Service: Ensure the pharmacy operates within designated hours, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM), and maintain high levels of customer service addressing patient concerns or questions in a professional manner.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Participate in strategic decision-making, including managing profit-sharing and growth opportunities.

**Requirements:**

  • A valid Pharmacist license in Ontario (must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists).
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
  • Proficient with Kroll Pharmacy Software, including prescription processing and medication management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proven track record of maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
  • The ability to work within a dynamic team and manage daily operations efficiently.
