Store Operations Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Director to join our team at Northern North Mart. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service standards and achieving financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement store-specific action plans to achieve planned profitability, sales, and controllable expense targets.
- Ensure appropriate merchandise is ordered, tailored to specific market needs, to maximize local sales opportunities.
- Control labor and overhead costs, monitor all cash, receivables, and store controls, and ensure appropriate inventory levels to maximize sales, inventory turns, and return on investment.
- Lead and control store goals and standards, develop expert knowledge of store operations, competition within the local area, and economic factors impacting the community.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume grocery/retail environment.
- Strong customer service skills, record of bottom line and sales results in previous roles, ability to interpret instructions verbally and orally.
- Computer knowledge of Excel and Outlook, strong knowledge of grocery operating principles, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills, excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and superior customer service skills.

Relocation Arrangements
Candidates must be willing to relocate to multiple markets in northern regions of Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories. Relocation arrangements will be made and paid for by Northern North Mart.
