Job Overview

TAL Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in Northern Ontario.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $70/hour, with opportunities for increases based on experience and performance. Additionally, they will be eligible for profit-sharing opportunities and potential ownership of the pharmacy.

About the Role

This is a dynamic leadership opportunity that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting, and be proficient in Kroll Pharmacy Software.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards. They will also manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to meet the needs of the pharmacy while minimizing waste and maximizing cost-efficiency.

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services, and contributing to the continued success and growth of TAL Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to meet the needs of the pharmacy while minimizing waste and maximizing cost-efficiency.
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care and patient outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in the training and development of pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere.
Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Pharmacist license in Ontario (in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
  • Proficient in Kroll Pharmacy Software, including prescription processing and medication management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively and foster a collaborative environment.
Working Hours and Environment

This role operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00/4:00 PM. The pharmacy is closed on Sundays and holidays.
