We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Thanh Thy Vietnamese Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead a team of kitchen staff to prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for kitchen operations.
- Communication: Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring seamless communication between kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
