About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mama Mia Italian Kitchen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet our high standards for food quality and customer service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train new staff members in their job duties, as well as our policies and procedures for food safety and sanitation.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing decisions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
