Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mama Mia Italian Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Restaurant
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, team player
