Brandt is currently seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our Brampton Positioning Technology location. As the adoption rate of lasers, layout tools and 2D and 3D machine guidance continues to grow, we have identified an opportunity to wholesale Lasers, 2D and 3D Machine Control as well as supplies to qualified distributors throughout the territory. Distributors will include partner rental houses, heavy equipment dealers, farming supply houses as well as traditional Survey distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell new whole goods product within the designated sales territory
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and equipment
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' business activities and needs
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotion strategies for the territory
  • Prepare customer status reports, including sales call activity, closing, follow-up, and prospect reports as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing in both English and French
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally
  • A recent driver's abstract will be required
  • Knowledge of common positioning and grading issues on a civil construction site is considered an asset
