Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property Management Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Fitzrovia. In this role, you will be a key team leader responsible for delivering exceptional resident customer service while assisting in the overall management of the property. This includes overseeing daily operations, financial reporting, inventory management, event coordination, and communication with residents.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a 5-star living experience by delivering exceptional customer service to all prospects, residents, and guests.
- Lead Rent Collection Efforts: Lead rent collection efforts, including lease termination and legal actions if required.
- Manage the Concierge Team: Manage, coach, and lead the Concierge team to ensure high service standards.
- Monitor Resident Documents: Monitor and maintain the accuracy of resident documents, ledgers, and files.
- Address Resident Concerns: Address the concerns of prospective and current residents in a professional and friendly manner.
- Set an Example: Set an example for the team by modeling Fitzrovia's service standards, training others to engage effectively with residents.
- Manage the Property Budget: Assist in managing the property budget, making fiscal decisions to optimize the community's net operating income.
- Oversee Move-In and Move-Out: Oversee the move-in and move-out process, including apartment inspections and community walk-throughs as needed.
- Serve as Property Manager: Serve as the Property Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline.
- Industry Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the real estate or hospitality industry.
- Customer Service Skills: Superior customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the confidence to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer literacy and a willingness to learn new programs and systems; experience with Yardi software is an asset.
- Budgeting Experience: Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management.
- Availability: Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, curious, responsive, and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Note that the regular work schedule for this role will be Tuesday – Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off.
