As part of a creative group of professionals, you will play a key role in creating the vision and strategic direction for research, evaluation, and ensuring accountability within the Branch's program areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and provide comprehensive policy and data analysis to support key initiatives aimed at improving health system performance
  • Evaluate existing policies and programs, helping to ensure they are aligned with the ministry's strategic priorities
  • Develop and implement policies, legislation, regulations, and program guidelines to improve services in areas such as seniors' care and disability services
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to address challenges in the community health system and support the development of performance measures and metrics that ensure accountability and drive results

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of government processes and procedures, health programs/services, systems and structures in Saskatchewan, specifically related to community-based care. They will also have expertise in research methodology, statistical analysis, program planning and evaluation.
