About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Analyst to join our President's Office team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating projects related to the University's strategic plan and operations. Your expertise in research, analysis, writing, and project management will be essential in developing plans, reviewing processes, and supporting issues management.

You will work closely with the executive leadership and stakeholders to ensure that our policies, processes, and programs reflect the priorities of the Leadership Team and align with our strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our University's strategic and operational plans, including stakeholder consultation and preparing sections of strategic planning documents.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of policies, processes, and associated programs that align with our University's strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process by ensuring that research, data, and information are rigorous and comprehensive to support viable strategic and operational plans.
  • Participate in the preparation and development of our University's strategic and operational plans, including stakeholder consultation and preparing sections of strategic planning documents.
  • Review and analyze University administration policies and processes, recommending changes, revisions, or additions as required.
  • Support funding requests, prepare project budgets, and provide project reporting.
  • Serve as liaison with committees and task groups, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Track progress of new and current projects/programs and processes arising from our University's strategic and operational planning process.
  • Identify, develop, implement, and provide ongoing project management support for innovation projects and other initiatives required by the University.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in a related field and a certificate in project management. You should also have at least five years of experience in research, analysis, report writing, and project management. Strong understanding of process development, monitoring, and evaluation is essential.

You should be able to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment, working well under time pressures with simultaneous activities, and taking initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
